DimLux T-Piece

The DimLux T-Piece is a custom metal ducting piece that connects the Combidec ducting to current ventilation systems. They are simple to use, just make a break in the existing ducting and fix the DimLux T-Piece in between using clips or tape. You will then have an inline tube with a branch off for 50mm ducting. Attach the 50mm Combidec ducting to the outlet and the other end to the exhaust port on the light fitting.

You can have as many DimLux T-Pieces in the system as you need, one for each light. Please note that any air extracted through the hood of the light unit will be unfiltered. You can use the DimLux light units without removing the heat, and they work perfectly well. By removing some of the heat, you may be able to drop the light a little closer to plants which can make a big difference to the available light. It also helps to keep the bulb a little cooler, helping to improve its lifespan.
